ACE Trucks was founded by Joey Tershay.

Joey left Independent Trucks where he worked with design when Fausto Vitello (co-founder of Independent and Thrasher Magazine) died. Joey first started working with his brother Nick Tershay at Diamond Supply Co. but soon decided to start ACE and design the trucks he really wanted to design for Independent. Joey was fond of the Independent’s first three generations of trucks and ACE therefore has clear features of the early Independent.

ACE trucks have quickly become a favorite among pool riders and have unique turning characteristics. A large team of “ACE pilots” has been attached to them, including Brian Anderson, Julien Stranger, John Cardiel, Harry Lintell, Leo Baker, Brad McClain, Raven Tershay, Ronnie Sandoval and others.
