With the new model AF1, ACE has updated its trucks in several ways:

• Proprietary casting process for the trucks
• New higher quality of the cast aluminum – heat treated (70% stronger)
• Stronger shafts of SCM440 alloy (carbon / chrome / molybdenum)
• Smooth / sharpened hangers so the bearings sit evenly against the hanger on the shaft
• Improved (stronger) base plate
• Shaft nuts that thread the shaft when needed
• Improved suspension with new bushings and washers
• Hand-cast pivot cups in 96a polyurethane
• Bonus – Extra (red) nut to reset threads on the shaft
• Shoulder widths in even 1/4-inch
