Creature Skateboards was started by distributor NHS in 1994. Early riders included Jason Adams, Barker Barrett and Darren Navarrette. In the late 1990s, the NHS was forced to shelve Creature but revived the brand in around 2005 with Darren Navarette and Lee Charron as team managers and creative force.

Today, a number of talented riders are on the team including Darren Navarrette, Sam Hitz, Al Partanen, David Gravette, Taylor Bingaman, Jimmy Wilkins, Ryan Reyes, Chris Russell and Stu Graham.

Creature skateboard’s attitude and boards are tough, often focusing on mystery, monsters and of course lots of sex, drugs & rock’n’roll.
