Almost Skateboards was founded in 2003 by legends Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. Rodney (who joined the Bones Brigade/Powell Peralta) had just left Enjoi and Daewon had left Artafact.

The Almost team currently consists of (apart from the founders):
Chris Haslam, Cooper Wilt, Youness Amrani, Christoph “Willow” Wildgrube, Mitchie Brusco and Yuri Facchini.

In collaboration with DC Comcis, Almost has released several series of boards featuring superheroes such as Superman, Batman and others. Almost has also experimented with new materials like carbon fiber to make extra light and strong boards.
